Description of Accommodations: Rising Dragon Hotel is located on a premier shopping street, with arts and crafts stores along the same block and throughout the surrounding neighbourhood. Our hotel is a brand new six floor building with 35 rooms, opening in April 2007. Ideal for leisure travellers, whether staying briefly in Hanoi or on an extended visit, we offer an on-site restaurant and full travel services.<br><br>Description of Rooms/Suites: Our hotel boasts large smoking and non-smoking rooms, some of which have beautiful balconies overlooking the Old Quarter and large bathrooms with bathtubs. Each deluxe and standard room in our safe and quiet building has air conditioning and hot water.<br><br>Amenities: The on-site restaurant has a wide menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests are provided with a free continental breakfast as part of their stay and free airport/train station/bus station pickup. Wireless internet is available, as are computers in our hotel lounge.<br><br>Services Offered: Room service and other amenities are available upon request. Please feel free to inform our English-speaking staff of your needs and we will be happy to accommodate you.<br><br>Directions: Arriving at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, our staff will greet you in the airport lobby and escort you to our hotel in the center of Hanoi (approximately 40 minutes by private car). If you arrive by train or bus, our staff will also be happy to guide you safely to our building.<br><br>Taxi/Van service to and from the airport price range: $ 8 - 10 USD. In Hanoi be careful with Motorbike, Taxi, and Van drivers. They sometimes play a little game with the tourists: asking you to wait at the vehicle while they check the hotel for you. If they report no vacancies upon return, don't believe them--they want the hotel to pay a them a commission for bringing them a guest! We want to protect customers from scam artists who operate at the airport. <br><br>We do provide a pickup service from the airport with common fare of 10 US dollars (free airport pick up for over 2 nights booking) if you inform us of your flight number and arrival time. A staff member will wait for you with a sign in the airport lobby and you will be taken by private car to our hotel. Please consider using this service. However, if you prefer to come to our hotel independently, remember to be careful. We want all our customers to enjoy their stay!<br><br>Also, ask about ongoing tour specials at our hotel or by email. We have initiated agreements with several partner agencies that allow us to compare prices and pass the savings on to you!
