    The hotel offers a large variety of food - from the all-you-can-eat-buffet, to the a-la-carte restaurants - we tried all of them, and enjoyed the different kinds of food - from local Malaysian dishes to western cuisine.

Shangri-La Rasa Ria Resort is located beachfront on the edge of the South China Sea amid 400 acres of tropical vegetation in a 64 acre nature preserve. The resort sits on a 2 mile stretch of beautiful white sand beach affording guests numerous recreational and relaxation options. The resort is located 35 minutes from Kota Kinabalu city centre. Nearby attractions are the Kota Belud Tamu - the Kinabalu National Park - the World Heritage Site for Mt Kinabalu - and the Kiulu River for white water rafting. The Sabah area features friendly people - complex rainforest - glorious beaches - and stunning wildlife. Resort facilities include a magnificent 18-hole championship golf course and the Spa at Dalit Bay. The resort also has a fitness centre - two outdoor swimming pools - children�s pool - spa facilities - water sports - horse riding - ATV safari - and a catamaran for cruises and deep sea fishing. Other features include three full service restaurants - coffee shop - bar - and lobby lounge. Meeting rooms and convention facilities are also available.
